Not This Again: Finland Becomes First Country To Offer Bird Flu Vaccine
The more things change, the more they stay the same.
On Wednesday, Finland announced that it is going to become the world's first country to offer bird flu vaccinations.
The preemptive vaccine will begin being rolled out next week and will initially go to those who work with animals. The move comes as the H5N1 strain, also known as the bird flu, has killed millions of poultry and birds and has started spreading to other animals such as cows, especially here in the United States.
A look into the details, however, shows something peculiar - there are hardly any bird flu cases whatsoever in humans.
In fact, only 11 people contracted it in the entire WORLD - including 5 in Cambodia alone. The United States has had 3 positive cases - believed to have been from direct contact with an infected cow.
Even the World Health Organization can't cover up just how rare the bird flu is, reportiing that from January 2003 to May 2024 there have been only 889 cases of human infection with the bird flu. TWENTY-ONE YEARS we're talking about and only 889 cases?
Prior to Covid, I wouldn't have thought twice about a story like this. But what we saw during Covid and from Big Pharma absolutely puts some hesitancy and doubt about whether this is truly needed. After all, the Moderna CEO personally made $400 MILLION in 2022.
Follow the money, I mean science.
UNITED STATES PURCHASING BIRD FLU VACCINES
As part of a new agreement with the European Union, Finland purchased 10,000 bird flu vaccines that will be distributed in two doses. The EU itself has purchased 40 million, while the United States has also bought more than 8 million H5N1 vaccines as well but ‘currently doesn’t have any plans' to distribute them.
The goal of the vaccine is to help build up antibodies. Medical professionals have said that they believe the vaccine to be safe.
Ya know, because it's not like we've heard that line before. Personally, I believe it's only a matter of WHEN, not IF this bird flu vaccine is being given around the United States - and it may come sooner than later.
