FINALLY: Travis Kelce Joins Taylor Swift On Stage During Eras Tour Performance In London
Everyone knows by now that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are dating. That is, unless you’ve never watched a pro football game in the past year or looked at any news site in existence (including ours).
They’ve had their ups and downs (mostly ups, surprisingly), and have done many fun celebrity couple vacations in the process. But one thing they haven’t done is appeared on stage together, which is kind of surprising. After all, they’ve been dating for almost a year and Swift has been around the world performing in countless cities and countries.
But the couple fixed that last night.
Swift was performing at Wembley Stadium in London for the second straight night, continuing her "Eras Tour." She began singing "I Can Do With A Broken Heart," one of her songs on the "The Tortured Poets Department" album.
Then out of nowhere, Kelce arrived dressed in incredibly fancy attire, to the delight of the crowd (Paul McCartney was in attendance as well).
As an aside, I think this was kind of a weird choice. If you look at the lyrics to the song, it’s about how she and her former lover are no longer close (sounds like most Taylor Swift songs, doesn’t it?). Maybe there was no hidden meaning behind her choice of that song or not, but if my significant other were to join me on stage, I’d choose another tune.
Anyway, Kelce upped the ante by briefly carrying Swift on the stage later during the set, again to the joy of the fans.
Afterward, Swift posted a picture of her and Kelce with Prince William and his two children, George and Charlotte. It was the first time she had put a picture with Kelce on her social media account.
All in all, it was another memorable night for Swift and Kelce. She performed at Wembley again this evening to conclude her England portion of the tour.
