Famous NYC Nightclub Revokes Membership Of Conservative Journalist For Saying Queer Dads Don't Produce Babies
Conservative journalist Caitlin Sinclair wished dads a Happy Father’s Day on Instagram Sunday. She ended her post with a reminder, "You are here because your dad’s not queer."
She's not wrong.
Yet, the post cost Sinclair her membership at a posh nightclub in New York City called Zero Bond. "They literally said, ‘We’re kicking you out because of your politics,’" Sinclair told the New York Post about the incident over the weekend.
Membership manager Duncan Menaker then emailed Sinclair on Wednesday to tell her to "refrain from using the club." Menaker, whom Sinclair called a "friend," also notified her that he canceled her $3,850 annual membership.
Sinclair, the newly appointed spokeswoman for Turning Point Action, says Menaker attributed the decision to her "offending" members of the club.
"He said I offended their members. You know what? Their members offend me," Sinclair told The Post. "There are members there who are huge Trump haters."
"I was simply stating a fact. We cannot be born without a man and a woman. I’m not saying I don’t support LBGTQ+. I have trans and gay friends – I never said anything offensive."
Sinclair adds that club founder Scott Sartiano once told her that her beliefs were welcome. "We need diversity at the club, so we’re glad you’re here," she recalled him saying.
"They only want diversity when it fits his agenda," Sinclair observes.
She reminded readers that Zero Bond allows other members to still use the club despite attending "pro-Hamas rallies and drag queen events."
"A lot of the members there hate Trump and stood in front of the courthouse," she continues. "They’re friends, they’re huge liberals. We can have different views, but we can still be out and party together."
Unfortunately, the hypocrisy of the club doesn't surprise us. Political hypocrisy permeates most of society.
Blame the Hierarchy of Victimhood.
As a straight white conservative woman, Sinclair ranks only above white conservative men on the pyramid. Gay people, liberal people, creepy drag queens, and even Hamas sympathizers sit much higher – thus they can still attend the club.
It also doesn't help that Zero Bond is often celeb-packed with the likes of Taylor Swift, Kim Kardashian, Pete Davidson, and Mayor Eric Adams – all of whom are avowed liberals.
Plus, the club is based in New York City, which Sinclair acknowledges, played a role in how the club treated her. "There’s a different set of rules for conservatives in New York," she concluded.
And American culture, in general.
The list of institutions rigged against conservatives is exhaustingly lengthy. To name a few: Hollywood, media, academia, comedy, sports, the music industry, Big Tech (especially Google), and even the New York Times bestseller list.
Might as well add nightclubs to the list…
