One Of The Best Shows On TV Gets Season Two Update

It sounds like season two of "Fallout" will dive even deeper in the post-apocalyptic world viewers have come to love.

The series with Walton Goggins and Ella Purnell turned into a monster success for Amazon as soon as it premiered. It's based on a very popular video game series, which immediately brought in a solid base of committed fans.

However, it also had massive appeal to people who never played the game, like myself. It's simply incredible entertainment.

What will season two look like? Prepare for more immersion into the world of "Fallout."

"Fallout" creators give update on season two.

With so much video game material to work with, it sounds like the writers and producers don't plan on leaving much on the cutting room floor as the show advances.

"The crazy thing about making Season 1 is that you have eight hours to adapt a franchise, in which there’s thousands of hours of gameplay to draw from, and it just means that you have to leave so many of your favorite pieces of the mythology behind. So we’re honestly just excited to get to be able to dive deeper into it and show audiences more of this incredible world," Geneva Robertson-Dworet told Deadline when discussing season two.

Producer Graham Wagner added, "We barely scratched the surface of the world of Fallout in Season 1, and it feels like in Season 2 we’re getting another scratch in, but there’s more to be done."

This is music to my ears. I never played the game, and I went into the series completely blind. I had no idea what to expect other than knowing anything Goggins touches tends to turn to gold. I was blown away by how awesome the show was in season one.

Now, with plenty of origin content to dive into, it sounds like season two will be just as complex and epic. I have absolutely no idea where things go from here, but I know that if season two is anything like season one, then it's going to be a fun ride.

If you haven't already seen season one, then I suggest you start ASAP on Amazon. Trust me when I say you won't regret it. Let me know what you think of the series at David.Hookstead@outkick.com.
