'Fallout' TV Series Release Date Gets Major Change

"Fallout" will be hitting TV screens around America a little sooner than initially anticipated.

The TV series with Walton Goggins based on the popular video games saga is viewed as one of the biggest productions of the year, and people are incredibly excited, whether or not they even played the games.

The show had originally been slated to premiere this Thursday, on Prime Video. However, that's no longer the case. The timeline is moving up.

"Fallout" premiering sooner than initially planned.

Instead of dropping Thursday, every single episode will now premiere on the streaming service Wednesday night.

Goggins, who famously played Boyd Crower in "Justified," announced the news late Monday night. It's definitely good news fans can sink their teeth into.

"Fallout" faces high expectations.

As someone who never played the games (I only play college football video games), I don't really know at all what the backstory is.

The plot is described as follows:

"Based on one of the greatest video game series of all time, Fallout is the story of haves and have-nots in a world in which there’s almost nothing left to have. 200 years after the apocalypse, the gentle denizens of luxury fallout shelters are forced to return to the irradiated hellscape their ancestors left behind — and are shocked to discover an incredibly complex, gleefully weird and highly violent universe waiting for them. From executive producers Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy, the creators of Westworld, starring Ella Purnell, Aaron Moten, Walton Goggins and more. All episodes arrive April 11 on Prime Video."

That's all I need to know in order to get excited. Plus, Walton Goggins is one of the best actors in all of Hollywood. He's criminally underrated.

We're talking about a man who played arguably the most menacing villain ever in Boyd Crowder to pivoting to Baby Billy without missing a beat.

The amount of talent that takes is simply outrageous, and he's now in a sci-fi post-apocalyptic series from Amazon. Are you not entertained?

We'll see how it all shakes out starting Wednesday, and I'm locked in and ready to roll. Let me know what you think at David.Hookstead@outkick.com.
