Massive Elk Charges Car In Crazy Video

Nature continues to be the gift that keeps on giving.

OutKick readers are well-aware of what happens when people venture into the wild and come across the animal thunderdome.

It almost never ends well. Wild animals aren't your pets. They will jack you up without a moment of hesitation, and the footage never gets old.

That brings us to a new video out of Yellowstone!

Elk charges car in viral video.

The popular Instagram account @touronsofyellowstone shared a video of an elk charging a car that was way too close.

The footage won't shock anyone used to seeing this stuff, but it's a solid reminder of why nature wants to be left alone.

Give it a watch below, and hit me with your thoughts at David.Hookstead@outkick.com.

People just never learn, do they? How many videos do we need to see of people in Yellowstone nearly winning a Darwin award before tourists start wising up?

A lot of people suggest staying at least 25 yards back. I'm going to upgrade that a little bit and suggest staying back at least 50 yards.

Instagram likes aren't worth your car getting messed up or a person getting seriously injured. Yet, nobody listens to common sense advice. People want to test the limits, and it can end horribly.

Fortunately, that didn't happen here, but it easily could have. Leave the wild animals alone and get your photos from a safe distance! Let me know at David.Hookstead@outkick.com if you agree.
