Massive Elephant Gets Loose In Montana City, Video Footage Is Unbelievable
An elephant went for a little stroll in Butte, Montana, and the video footage is absolutely incredible.
OutKick readers know the animal thunderdome can be crazy, but there are generally limits. Montana is full of massive animals that could ruin a human's day in a second, but when you think of the western state, you think of bison, bears, cougars, wolves and animals of that nature.
Not elephants.
Well, people in Butte got the shock of a lifetime Tuesday.
Elephant gets loose in Butte, Montana.
An elephant with the Jordan World Circus broke loose after a car backfired spooking the animal, according to the Daily Montanan. The elephant responded by making a run for it through Butte for about 10 minutes.
Fortunately, nobody was hurt when the giant animal got loose, but the footage is nothing short of incredible. Give it a watch below, and let me know your thoughts at David.Hookstead@outkick.com.
As OutKick readers are aware, I used to live in Montana, and I've been to Butte before. As someone who lived in one of America's greatest states, I can tell you that I've seen plenty of wild things. Plenty.
You truly never know what's going to happen in Montana when you step outdoors. However, I can safely say I never expected to run into an elephant.
That would have made the list of the top 1,000 I would have expected to happen. Yet, that's exactly what occurred Tuesday in Butte.
You never know what life is going to throw at you, and an elephant getting loose in Montana is proof of that fact. Let me know your thoughts on the wild video footage at David.Hookstead@outkick.com.
