Drake Will Give Away Winnings From Super Bowl Bet
Drake has done the unthinkable: He won a bet.
The rapper is notorious for cursing teams by placing humongous wagers on them — only to end up badly in the red. So when he threw $1.115 million on the Kansas City Chiefs to beat the San Francisco 49ers in the Super Bowl, Niners fans were celebrating before the game even kicked off.

But lo and behold, Drake actually got this one right. So, when Chiefs wide receiver Mecole Hardman caught a 3-yard pass in the end zone to seal the deal, Champagne Papi pocketed a cool $2.3 million.
Unlike Patrick Mahomes, though, Drake's not going to Disneyland. Instead, he plans to give all that money away.
Just before kickoff on Sunday, the Grammy winner posted a screenshot of the wager on his Instagram Story.
"If I win somebody getting super blessed at the show tmrw," he wrote — teasing his plans to give away some cash during his Monday show at St. Louis' Enterprise Center.
And for the first time in my life, I really wish I was at a Drake concert.
Although Drake didn't attend the game, he certainly had a good time watching his bet cash. The 37-year-old posted several Instagram stories from what appeared to be a hotel suite.

He was enjoying adult beverages, eating crêpes, and screaming at players through the TV: "Come on Pat, bring it home, man!"
So maybe — just maybe — the Drake curse is turning around in 2024.
I probably wouldn't bet the house on that. But congrats, anyway, to the lucky soul who leaves tonight's concert $2.3 million richer.
