Insane Details Surface Of Sniper Shot That Killed Trump's Shooter

It sounds like the shot that took out Donald Trump's would-be assassin might be borderline impossible to recreate.

Thomas Matthew Crooks was killed by a Secret Service sniper after shooting Donald Trump in the ear, killing a firefighter in attendance and wounding two more.

It was a horrific moment that unfolded in front of the country, and the Republican nominee for POTUS is lucky to be alive.

Very few details have been known about who engaged Crooks or how they were able to end his terror rampage. Now, details are surfacing about the Secret Service sniper and it sounds like it was an incredible shot.

Details surface of sniper who shot Donald Trump's shooter.

The Secret Service sniper who killed Crooks at the Butler, PA rally hit a "one-in-a-million shot" shot to kill him, according to sources that spoke to Fox News.

He only needed to fire a single shot at the would-be assassin after a "local tactical team" missed while attempting to engage Crooks, according to the same report.

Just how hard of a shot was it for the line USSS agent who put Crooks down? He couldn't even get a clean look at him.

Fox reported the USSS sniper "could only see Crooks’ gun scope and the top of his eye and forehead because the lip of the roof was blocking the sniper’s view."

That means he fired the shot without a clear look at a full target profile. It's almost straight out of a movie. That's not just an impressive shot. It's one of the greatest shots you'll ever hear about.

Fortunately, the unnamed USSS sniper did his job and did it quickly after at least one other attempt to engage with Crooks failed. If not, who knows how many more bullets Crooks might have been able to fire into the crowd. While there were countless mistakes that nearly cost Trump his life, there's no doubt the unnamed sniper is a hero and an absolute badass for the shot he took.
