GoFundMe For Trump Assassination Attempt Victims Hits Staggering Amount Of Money

The fundraiser for victims of the failed Donald Trump assassination is raising some massive money.

A GoFundMe was established for the victims and their families of the horrific assassination attempt on the Republican nominee.

One man was killed and two people were seriously wounded when Thomas Matthew Crooks opened fire on Donald Trump during a Saturday rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.

Trump was hit in the ear by Crooks' gunfire, but managed to get on his feet and hit the crowd with a fist pump. Now, the GoFundMe to help the families of the victims is raising a ton of money.

GoFundMe for victims of Trump assassination attempt brings in millions of dollars.

The official fundraiser for the three victims and their families has raised north of $4.7 million as of publication. That's simply a staggering amount of cash for any single fundraiser.

Elon Musk, who openly endorsed Trump after the failed assassination attempt, has also now chipped in with a donation of $100,000, according to the top donors list.

What happened in Butler, PA this past weekend was horrifying. Trump is only alive because of nothing short of a miracle. If that bullet had been a quarter of a centimeter more to the inside, there's almost a 100% chance Trump would be dead.

Instead, a slight head motion likely saved the former President and current Republican nominee's life. Unfortunately, Corey Comperatore was killed shielding his family and two others were wounded in the shooting. It was a bloody and horrible day for America.

Yet, in our darkest moments is when people tend to shine and come together. That's what's happening with the GoFundMe for the victims. People are pouring in money to help them, and some major names are on the list along with Musk:

  • Ken Griffin - $100,000
  • The Heritage Foundation - $50,000
  • The UFC - $50,000
  • Dana White $50,000
  • Kid Rock - $50,000
  • Vivek Ramaswamy - $30,000

Major props to everyone stepping up to help those in need following the failed assassination attempt. It's a sign of what America can be at our best. Let me know what you think at David.Hookstead@outkick.com.
