This Hot Dog And Coors Banquet Review Is America At Its Finest
There's nothing more American than a hot dog and ice cold beer on a hot summer night.
I attended an Independent Women’s Forum event Tuesday night at The Bullpen in Washington, D.C. in support of protecting women's sports, and simply couldn't pass up the opportunity to do a review of the most American dinner imaginable when presented with the chance.
For those of you who don't know, The Bullpen is the open bar/event area right outside of Nationals Park where the Nats play.
If you've ever been to a Nats game, then there's a very high chance you've been to The Bullpen. It's literally made up in part of old shipping containers, has multiple alcohol serving sections and some food options.
What was on the menu Tuesday night? An open bar and hot dogs. I was intrigued for many reasons, but one of the big ones was that I don't eat hot dogs.
In fact, I don't really eat anything that's not pretty healthy for you. The reason why is simple. I used to be fat. Now, I'm not because I gave up soda nearly five years ago and started eating healthier. Yet, was I really going to pass up the chance to eat a hot dog and drink a beer outside of the ballpark at a pro-America event?
Let's crush some hot dogs and Coors Banquet.
No chance. I'm not passing up an opportunity to pump out some content for the OutKick family. With my buddy holding the camera, I found myself with a hot dog with mustard on it in my hand.
When was the last time I had a hot dog? Honestly, I do not know. It's been a very long time, and I know for sure it was in Las Vegas. Was it a year ago? Two years ago? I can't say with complete certainty, but I know it was definitely at Stage Door.
Now, I found myself with a famous Bullpen hot dog in my hand with no idea what to expect. I couldn't have scripted it better. The Chicago Bulls/Michael Jordan theme song started playing literally as the review unfolded, and it felt like there was an overwhelming amount of patriotism and freedom in the air.

I'll admit it was much better than I expected. For a guy who sticks mostly to chicken and lean red meat, it was a nice change of pace, and feel free to roast me for only putting mustard on it. I can take the criticism! I'm not afraid to laugh at myself.
Now, what do we wash a hot dog down with? The best beer in America: Coors Banquet.
Smash the play button on the video below, and get ready to run through a brick wall. Forget the Presidential debate Thursday night. This video is all you need to go outside and wave the flag.
I also have to give a shoutout to everyone on X who showed some love for Coors Banquet. I see you, I respect you and I agree with you!
Seriously, it doesn't get much more American than this. A night with a hot dog and cold Coors Banquet is something the European mind can't even begin to comprehend, and no, I won't apologize for it. If we can't smash cold Coors and eat hot dogs, then we don't have freedom. It's that simple in my mind.
