Delta Force Operator Explains Why He Misses Killing And Combat: VIDEO
Former Delta Force operator Dave Nielsen isn't shy about the fact he misses combat and killing.
I recently sat down with Dave for our second interview, and it's without question one of my favorite interviews that I've ever done on American Joyride. Dave pulled back the curtain on the truth of the Jessica Lynch rescue, talked about his greatest sniper shot and much more.
One of the things that really stood out to me during the conversation was how he talked about missing combat and killing. The average person probably can't even imagine wanting to be in a gunfight. Dave and his teammates are the kind of people who can't get enough. We dived into the topic, and it really boils down to one thing for Dave:
Living.
When you're putting a bomb on a door for breach or killing bad guys, you're living in a state that is impossible to understand unless you're there. Absolutely fascinating perspective.
You can watch Dave break it all down starting at 1:08:00 in the video below, and send your thoughts to David.Hookstead@outkick.com.
We're going to have a few more highlights from this interview coming, and I hope you all continue to engage with them. I've loved some of the emails you've sent about this powerful interview. Dave has lived an insane life that not even Hollywood could imagine. He's been through the highest of highs, lowest of lows and came out on the other side still alive and kicking. Be thankful guys like him and his teammates exist and are on our side. Let me know your thoughts at David.Hookstead@outkick.com.
