Brutal Horrors Of Jessica Lynch Rescue Exposed By Delta Force Veteran

The true unknown horrors of the Jessica Lynch rescue are a lot darker than the public realizes.

Jessica Lynch shot to fame after being a female POW successfully rescued during the early days of the Iraq War. She was taken prisoner by the Iraqis following an ambush on her unit that left 11 of her teammates dead.

A rescue operation was launched to retrieve her from a hospital on April 1, 2003. The media and government played up a narrative of a grand gun battle, that Lynch fought until she no longer could during her capture and that the rescue was beyond daring. None of that turned out to be true, but the most shocking part was what was discovered near the hospital: the recovery of Lynch's dead teammates.

I spoke with former Delta Force operator Dave Nielsen - who was on the mission as an Army Ranger - about the truth of what happened and the horrors experienced on the ground. It's a video every American needs to see.

You can watch Dave break down the truth of the Jessica Lynch rescue and the recovery of her deceased teammates in the video below starting around the 3:00 mark.

It's stories like this that are a blunt reminder of the sacrifice our brave men and women make while wearing the American flag. You never leave anyone behind - dead or alive. The rescue team grabbed Lynch and Dave and his teammates recovered the bodies of her teammates in unimaginable condition. It's difficult to listen to, but also necessary. God bless Dave and everyone else involved. Let me know your thoughts at David.Hookstead@outkick.com.
