Danica Patrick Endorses Major Conspiracy Theory, But Is She Actually Correct?

Danica Patrick is dipping her toes into the land of conspiracy and cover-ups.

Americans love conspiracy theories. We absolutely love them. Why? I'm not sure. It probably stems from the fact we're inherently not a trusting society when it comes to authority. I guess that's what happens when a bloody war is needed for independence followed by a civil war a few generations later.

Whether it's the John F. Kennedy assassination, conspiracies surrounding wars or something else, you could spend weeks debating different topics.

Right at the top of the list is the moon landing for many people, and that includes the former race car driver.

Danica Patrick doesn't buy moon landing conspiracy.

"This is def one of the conspiracy's [sic] I believe. I don't care if you think I'm crazy. I already know I am," Patrick wrote on her Instagram story late Wednesday when sharing a video of Bart Sibrel with Joe Rogan discussing the moon landing.

Give the clip a watch below, and decide for yourself what you think of Sibrel's arguments.

For what it's worth people in the comments definitely weren't buying Sibrel's argument of lost tech and files means it was all fake:

  • Cringe. Anti American propaganda.
  • Hey genius, if you were the one going to the moon today, would you want to do it using 1969 technology?
  • Why would they fake a moon landing SIX times?
  • Most of the original footage was preserved and can be seen on YouTube.
  • When I want to laugh harder than watching Richard prayer [pretty sure this meant Pryor] I turn on the moon landing deniers thanks guys

Of course, there were also plenty of people agreeing that it's all a huge hoax, which is where Danica Patrick falls on the spectrum. Or, at the very least, she doesn't buy the official story.

Personally, I think Danica Patrick is great. She's entertaining as hell, she's a proud patriot and she's not afraid to speak her mind. If that includes dabbling in conspiracy theories, then I'm willing to sit in listen. I'm not a pro-conspiracy theory guy, but I like to hear different theories.

Clearly, Patrick doesn't trust the government, and on that single point, I can't agree with her more.

Here's the issue with people who think the moon landing is fake: it was done more than one time. Many people think there was just one trip to the moon. One of my closest friends is a very smart person, believes the landing was fake and had no idea we did it five more times.

Yes, America went to the moon a total of six times - not just one time. The Soviets never made it, or at least never made it and brought anyone home. The Soviets were alleged to have abandoned people in space, but there's also no confessions that ever happened.

While Danica Patrick is very entertaining and appears to be highly-intelligent, I have to disagree with her on this one. Where are you on the moon landing? Let me know at David.Hookstead@outkick.com.
