Curvy Art Teacher Fires Back At Haters Who Call For Her Firing Over Classroom Booty Pics

A New Jersey art teacher has gone viral and amassed more than 838,000 Instagram followers for some of her classroom pictures. A lot of these pictures feature her curves and have led some to call for her to be fired.

The woman, who goes by the name "The Art Teacher" on Instagram, found herself at the center of debate on social media. Pictures of her teaching in the classroom in some curve-hugging attire have received a lot of attention.

With that attention has come plenty of opinions in the comment section. While there are supporters in the comments, the haters have made their voices heard.

"Taking booty pics in a child's class room yah don't think you'll be a teacher long have a good one," one comment read.

Another accused the teacher of having surgery, "Get her out, kids don't need to see the outcome of you surgeries to look sexually appealing."

"You can't help your body shape. However You can help what you wear and poses," said another. "Teachers doing back shots and extremely fitting clothes? You should probably have a private page for your personal stuff."

"Showing pictures in the class with your butt in the air is very inappropriate!"

Another commented, "You're sad, taking booty pics during class?"

Who's ready to learn some art?

As you can see there are plenty of people who have concerns. So many that The Art Teacher decided to respond to the backlash with a video.

"One thing I want to address is the mothers at my school, at my specific school where I am an actual teacher at, some of those mothers are some of my biggest supporters," she said in the video. "I have seen some of these moms have been under these reports defending my honor without me having to say a peep."

She seemed generally confused that anyone would have a problem with her, "It is scary and mind boggling to me that this is really a thing."

She was also very confident that the attempts to have her fired would fail, "I am so happy. I'm still a teacher."

"I'm still at work. I am still living in my truth. I'm still highly favored. I'm really excited for the way my life is going," she said.

I think you can probably guess which side I'm going to end up on here. That said, I get the concerns. Nobody wants dads to be tripping over themselves on parent-teacher night.

That can lead to all kinds of trouble.

There are a few things to be concerned with when it comes to your kid's teacher. As long as they're not showing up to school naked, what they're wearing doesn't make my list.
