Courteney Cox Battles The Humidity In A Bikini To Celebrate Her 60th Birthday
Look, it's a Saturday in the middle of June. Forgive me if there's not much going on beyond the US Open, and the leaders don't even tee off until damn near 4 p.m., which is beyond silly. That's another story, though.
I say that, to say this – sometimes, you have to dig deep into the bag of tricks on a slow summer day to find the content. Saturdays in the fall? It comes at you fast and furious. You truly can't keep up. Saturdays in the summer? Brutal.
Unless you realize Courteney Cox is celebrating her 60th birthday today by stepping out into the humidity and showing the world that she very much still has her fastball. When an OG of the #content game pounds the corners like this at 60, you have no choice but to show her the proper respect.
Courteney Cox continues to dominate at 60
I mean, does Courteney Cox still have it or what?
Look, you grew up in two camps in the 1990s/early-2000s – Team Jennifer Aniston or Team Courteney Cox. Many boys became men during the golden era of Friends back in the day, and those two are the reasons why.
Monica or Rachel? You'd have debates at school. Girls would mimic their hairstyles. You laughed because there was no way in hell Chandler/Ross could land women like that. Just wasn't possible.
Full transparency, I was always a Rachel guy. Just being honest. Jennifer Aniston, in my opinion, is still the standard today. She was electric three decades ago, and she's still a sparkplug in 2024. Trust me.
But Courteney Cox ain't far behind, and she's five years older! I mean, does that woman in the above video look like she's 60? No chance. It's impressive as hell.
And she even pulled out all the stops to celebrate the big day, going with her patented Humid Hair from the season nine finale:
Classic scene. Also, sad now that Matthew Perry has passed away, but we're not gonna talk about that right now because I'm still not ready for it.
Anyway, happy 60th, Courteney. You dominated as Monica Gellar, you dominated as Gale Weathers, and you're still dominating today.
And around here, we respect that sort of longevity.
