Couple Caught Having Sex On The Sidewalk In Front Of A Florida Popeyes
Nothing sets the mood quite like the sidewalk in front of a Popeyes that is in full view of passing vehicles. So it's not all that surprising that a couple was caught having sex on a sidewalk in front of one of the fried chicken restaurants in Florida last weekend.
An officer with the Indian River Sheriff's Office arrived on the scene after receiving a report of lewd behavior involving a male and female on the sidewalk. He was then flagged down by another witness who had driven by the couple having sex near U.S. Highway 1 in Vero Beach.
The officer stated in the arrest report that he witnessed 70-year-old Arnold Mackey - side note good for him - on top of 44-year-old April White while "making a thrusting motion." He then confronted the lovebirds who started adjusting their shorts after the officer identified himself.
Mackey became flustered by the officer's unexpected interruption of his romantic sidewalk activities. As a result, he struggled to pull up his shorts all the way. This, unfortunately, "left his penis fully exposed to oncoming traffic."
Once Mackey was able to gather himself fully - finally put his member in his shorts - the officer placed him in hand restraints and sat him on the ground. White wasn't as compliant with the mood killer as her intimate partner was.
It Turns Out The Sidewalk Isn't The Most Practical Place To Conduct Business
She became verbally aggressive with the officer while claiming that "she did nothing wrong." When it came time for the cuffs to be put on, she hurled obscenities at the officer while struggling with him.
Obviously, she wasn't a fan of the officer, given that he had just ruined her Saturday afternoon. During the struggle, the officer had to escort Ms. White to the ground in a grassy area.
The officer smelled a strong odor of alcohol on her breath and discovered four empty bottles of vodka along with an un-opened bottle of rum on the ground. White and Mackey were arrested for exposure of sexual organs.
White added resisting arrest and disorderly intoxication to her list of charges. Her bond was set at $7,000 and Mackey's was $5,000.
Best of luck to these two. Maybe next time they'll shell out the money to get a room and avoid having to come up with thousands in order to post their bond.
