Austin Cops Blast Brawler With 50k Volts As Things Get Weird Over The 4th

Fireworks went off in Austin over the weekend as multiple street brawls broke out along 6th street where the Spielberg of Street Fights was shooting footage.

For those of you who are new around here, the Spielberg of Street Fights is notorious for focusing on Austin's drunken 6th street, where it's not uncommon for the cinematographer to catch multiple fights on camera.

Saturday night, he was right in the middle of the action as bar security appeared to tell a customer he wasn't gaining entry. Then, when the Austin Police Department showed up, the customer decided to take a swing at a cop.

Stick with this one until the 1:00 mark when sleeveless guy takes 50k volts into his legs.

From there, it was pretty much the common chick-on-chick violence that you're used to out of trashy 6th street. We do get a guy with a busted face in the third fight video, but it's nothing special.

One thing that I did notice from this weekend's fight footage was the number of times I heard "stop fighting" from women.

Ladies, can we STOP with such fake commentary. There's not a guy in this world who's jacked up on Jack & Cokes who has stopped fighting because you wailed "stop fighting."

If anything, he's going to go HARDER the minute those words hit his ear canals. It's like cats eating catnip.

It's ON.

In other Austin 6th street news, a bouncer at Chupacabra Cantina alerted cops to a guy who tried to get into the bar at 1:09 a.m. Saturday with a gun in his waistband. Cops say the guy appeared to be intoxicated when he was arrested.

Remember, you're not allowed to carry guns into a bar in Texas.

Stay weird, Austin.
