Caitlin Clark Crushes It On 'Saturday Night Live' With Hilarious Segment: VIDEO

Caitlin Clark dropped in on "Saturday Night Live" and killed it.

The Iowa Hawkeyes phenom will be the first pick in the WNBA Draft after an incredible college career. She left the court for the final time as an Iowa player with the most points in the history of major college basketball. Not only was she dominant on the court, but Clark did things the right way and was a class act.

Ahead of her WNBA arrival, she appeared on "SNL" for the Weekend Update segment with Michael Che, and she had some jokes that focused on his mocking of women's sports.

Not only did Clark (or whoever wrote the jokes) cook Che, but she also shared a message about those who paved the way for her.

Caitlin Clark crushes it on SNL.

Who knew Clark had a comedy streak in her? Not only does she have a comedy streak, but she also gave Sheryl Swoopes a shoutout.

That's another sign of how classy Clark is as a person because Swoopes had no problem spreading incorrect misinformation about the Iowa star's accomplishments on the court.

Instead of getting in the mud and arguing with her, Clark was the bigger person and recognized her accomplishments as a basketball player. Good for her. Many people in her position would not have done the same.

The fact Clark appeared on "SNL" is also proof that her profile is only going to grow bigger and bigger. The WNBA would be wise to do everything possible to make her the face of the league.

She led to record women's college basketball TV ratings, and the WNBA is hoping and praying she can boost the league's relevance.

If any person can, it's Caitlin Clark.

Finally, it seems like "Saturday Night Live" is making a legit effort to bring in more entertaining people and not just people who appeal to liberals and woke Hollywood. Shane Gillis, Sydney Sweeney and Caitlin Clark all appearing on the show is a huge step in the right direction. Props to Clark, again, for crushing it.
