Border Brawl: U.S. & Mexican Fans Fight At Nations League Match

Emotions boiled over Sunday night at AT&T Stadium where fans of Team USA and Mexico dropped the gloves and fought it out in the stands like illegals fighting to break into this country along the U.S.-Mexican border.

Fighting in the stands was just one part of the drama that played out during Team USA's 2-0 win in the CONCACAF Nations League final. The match was stopped twice after Mexican fans broke out into "homophobic chants," according to media reports.

Mexicans and homophobic chants isn't a new phenomenon. In 2023, a USA-Mexico match was called after fans refused to stop with chants even after picking up four red cards in a 3-0 U.S. win. In 2021, a USA-Mexico match ended with fans throwing objects at players and homophobic slurs being hurled from the stands.

Sunday night, things boiled over to the point where a guy draped in the stars and stripes decided he was going to fight the Mexicans.

Let's see that fight a little closer to the action:

Meanwhile, after Gio Reyna scored to make it 2-0, Mexican fans decided to show off their arm strength by throwing anything possible at the U.S. celebration huddle.
