Bill Cosby Launches Tirade At Howard U. Over Attacks On Phylicia Rashad

Everybody’s favorite tv dad-turned criminal, Bill Cosby, didn’t wait till dark to start setting off Fourth of July fireworks. Cosby, who was recently released from prison, spent his Independence Day afternoon taking shots at Howard University after they distanced themselves from Phylicia Rashad’s pro-Cosby comments. “Howard University you must support ones Freedom of Speech (Ms. Rashad), which is taught or supposed to be taught every day at that renowned law school, which resides on your campus,” Cosby said through his spokesman, Andrew Wyatt.

Rashad of course, had an all-time Twitter blunder hours after Cosby was released from jail on a technicality. In a since-deleted tweet, Rashad, Cosby's former co-star and on-air wife, said: "FINALLY!!!! A terrible wrong is being righted- a miscarriage of justice is corrected!" Her Twitter comments were received about as well as a LeBron James political take. Howard University, which employs Rashad, then needed to extinguish the flames. It released its own statement saying that Rashad's comments did not reflect those of the University.

Upon realizing that coming to the defense of a sexual predator is not a great look, Rashad back-peddled quicker than prime Deion Sanders, offering her support to survivors:

Cosby, who has the self-awareness of a whore in church, then targeted the media before offering more support for Rashad, saying: “This (sic) mainstream media are the Insurrectionists, who stormed the Capitol. Those same Media Insurrectionists are trying to demolish the Constitution of these United State of America on this Independence Day. No technicality — it’s a violation of one’s rights & we the people stand in support of Ms. Phylicia Rashad.”

Cosby, 83, lit one final fuse, taking to Twitter to insinuate his innocence:

For the first time in a long time, Cosby's fireworks alone caused a bang. No Quaaludes necessary.
