Biden Orders Media To 'Rise Up To The Seriousness Of The Moment' After Bootlicking Interview With Howard Stern
Joe Biden has a message for the media: "Rise up to the seriousness of the moment."
Biden pleased with journalists at the White House Correspondents' Dinner last Saturday to take Donald Trump's "attack on democracy" seriously and not dismiss his rhetoric as "just Trump talk."
"I’m sincerely not asking you to take sides. I’m asking you to rise up to the seriousness of the moment," Biden said. "Move past the horse race numbers and the gotcha moments, and the distractions, the sideshows that have come to dominate and sensationalize our politics, and focus on what’s actually at stake. I think in your hearts, you know what’s at stake. The stakes couldn’t be higher."
"In the age of disinformation, credible information that people can trust is more important than ever. And that makes you — and I mean this from the bottom of my heart — that makes you more important than ever," he added.
Amusingly, Biden called upon the press to do their jobs one day after participating in an interview with Howard Stern during which the latter bootlicked the former for nearly an hour.
Stern did not ask Biden about antisemitic protesters hijacking college campuses. He didn't reference the chaos at the border, directly treating the safety of Americans. Stern didn't ask Biden to defend criticism that he's in obvious cognitive decline. Nor did he mention Hunter Biden using the "Biden" name to influence peddle overseas.
Rather, Stern asked Biden if he agreed that Jan. 6 is proof that Trump "should not be able to run for office." The two men also discussed Biden's days as a lifeguard.
Here is the exchange:
Stern: "Did you ever save anyone's life when you were a lifeguard? Was anyone ever drowning?"
Biden: "Yeah. Well, half a dozen times. Usually younger kids, you know."
Stern: "You do the thing with the whistle and then jump in and the bathing suit and, you know?"
Biden: "You got it."
Howard then told Biden he loved him and thanked him for serving as the father of the country, a father the nation is "lucky to have." Watch below:
While Biden can deflect the fault of softball questions toward Stern, Biden's team carefully picks who can interview him. In fact, the New York Times recently criticized Biden for "avoiding interviews" with serious journalists.
The Biden team will not allow their notoriously feeble boss to sit down with any interviewer who could dare to ask even moderately tough questions. Team Biden turned down an interview with CBS host Norah O'Donnell during the Super Bowl pre-game show last February.
Joe Biden doesn't seek "serious journalism." He seeks useful idiots of the Democrat Party – like Howard Stern.
Also, don't expect the corporate media to ramp up the seriousness from now until the election. It won't happen. Donald Trump leads Biden in most polls. Instead, expect that the media is about to ramp up the interference, propaganda, and outright lies.
