ATF Weapons 'Expert' Humiliated For Not Knowing How To Disassemble A Glock: VIDEO
ATF official Chris Bort probably really regrets going on "Face the Nation."
Bort is the acting chief of the ATF's Firearms Ammunition Technology Division, and presented himself as a weapons expert during the CBS appearance.
Certainly, a man who presents himself as an expert on firearms and is in a position of authority over your Second Amendment rights in the USA must know how to use basic weapons, right?
Wrong. Very wrong.
Bort repeatedly struggled to disassemble a Glock pistol - the most recognizable pistol in the country. A Glock is so easy to disassemble that a young child could do it within a second after some brief instructions. Yet, Bort - an actual ATF official - couldn't do it at all.

ATF official humiliated for not knowing how to take down a Glock.
Popular YouTuber and Second Amendment supporter Garand Thumb is known for making arguably the best gun content on the web. He successfully mixes entertainment and knowledge to give viewers an awesome look at different firearms. Garand Thumb, a former Air Force member, took some time off from the range to absolutely cook Bort in embarrassing fashion.
He filmed a video showing how many Glock pistols he could disassemble in the same amount of time Bort - an alleged weapons "expert" - couldn't do a single one.
Garand Thumb was so fast that he ran out of Glocks before time ran out. Watch the incredible video below, and let me know your thoughts at David.Hookstead@outkick.com.
It's moments like this one that people use to justify the ATF being a complete joke. It's truly embarrassing when people in positions of authority talk about guns and clearly have no idea what is going on.
Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson thinks a bump stock lets an AR-15 shoot 800 rounds a second and one of the ATF's top guys can't even disassemble a Glock.
It's beyond embarrassing. It's downright humiliating.
People in positions of authority should take the time to educate themselves about firearms or they should find different jobs. How can the public trust the ATF to regulate and enforce the law when a weapons "expert" working there doesn't know how to take apart a Glock. The fact you're reading this at OutKick tells me most of you agree!
