AOC Calls Trump A Neo-Nazi Days After He's Shot: VIDEO
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez doesn't seem to have much interest in turning down the temperature.
There have been calls across the political spectrum for people to tone down the rhetoric following Republican POTUS nominee Donald Trump being shot during a campaign rally.
The former President was hit in the ear after Thomas Matthew Crooks opened fire on Trump and his supporters. It was the first time in more than four decades that a current or former President had been hit by gunfire, and people immediately urged people to dial the insanity back.
AOC must have missed the message, judging from a late-night Instagram video.

The Congresswoman hopped on Instagram late Thursday night/early Friday morning to rant for an hour about the current state of the election, people wanting Joe Biden out and the alternatives, but that's not what's grabbing people's attention.

So much for turning the temperature down. To be clear, you can love or hate Trump, but to call the man a Nazi is unhinged and not tied to reality. He was already President once. Did he do anything that resembled the actions of Adolf Hitler? Absolutely not. Nazis killed millions of innocent people, carried out a Holocaust and started a war that destroyed Europe.
Anyone who thinks Donald Trump is a Nazi should pick up a history book.

It's rhetoric like this that puts people in actual danger, and that was on display this past Saturday. If you lie to people that someone is Hitler, then the only logical conclusion is that someone will try to take them out. It's the basic conclusion. How could it not be? If someone is Hitler, then you have to kill them. It's absolute insanity.
More than 30% of Democrats don't think the shooting was real, and one of the most famous Democrats in the country is calling Trump a neo-Nazi.
It's as pathetic as it is concerning. The man took a bullet, and we all watched it happen. If that wasn't enough for people to want to calm down, then I don't know what will be.
We'll see if AOC comes to her senses and apologizes, but this is a very bad look given what happened to Trump during the failed assassination attempt. AOC's office did not respond to request for comment. Let me know at David.Hookstead@outkick.com.
