Andrew Schulz: Robert Kraft Was Off Limits At Roast, Tom Brady Was Legit Angry

We're learning more about what went on in the lead up to Netflix's massively successful Roast of Tom Brady that is still trending days later across social media.

As everyone knows by now - nothing was off limits. Every race, group, coach, former tight end for the team, even a Jujutsu instructor were on the table.

Nothing was off limits, that is, except Patriots owner Robert Kraft. And according to comedian and roaster Andrew Schulz - Brady was legitimately angry when roaster Jeff Ross made a Robert Kraft massage parlor joke about the billionaire Patriots owner who was charged with soliciting while at a Florida establishment.

TOM BRADY AGREED ALL THE JOKE TOPICS, EXCEPT ROBERT KRAFT

Just minutes into Sunday night's Netflix roast, viewers were wondering if Tom Brady was truly mad after he approached comic Jeff Ross at the podium and told him to "cut the sh**," after the Kraft massage parlor joke. Was Brady trying to just troll and emulate his own Will Smith / Chris Rock moment? Or was he legitimately mad - and if so, why would he care about a Kraft joke?

"When Tom [went at] Jeff Ross, I think that was 100% real. The reason why is that they told us ‘No jokes about happy endings with Bob Kraft,’ Schulz told The Flagrant interview series.

"I had a Bob Kraft tagline [to end one of my jokes]. I had the joke about Randy Moss and Sundays and a priest and the tag was "and of course, Bob Kraft," Schulz explained. However, when he presented the joke to Netflix producers, he was informed that ‘Tom asked us not to do anything with the massage,’ to which Schulz obliged, but Ross didn't - which prompted Brady to sprint straight to him on the set as if he was running a QB sneak on the goal line.

TOM BRADY ROAST MADE WOKES FURIOUS

Schulz then brought up the craziness of the entire situation when one thinks about what just went down. "This is the first comic that goes on, it's a live roast, and it's your night [and Ross didn't listen to what Brady wanted.] Brady was ready to shut the whole sh** down right then. That's an alpha ass move right there!"

It's curious that of ALL the jokes and rips that Brady was about to encounter, he only had an off-limits list of Kraft. What that also shows, however, is that Brady 100% was all about any jokes that ripped ex-wife Gisele Bundchin and everything else that went down that night. And rightfully so, it's a roast afterall! Gisele however, reportedly was not so pleased.

What many people are failing to realize is that Brady's Roast may be a game changer as far as the spark that brings back levity and sanity into this woke, PC-crazed world. For years, comics were scared of saying the obvious for fear of wackjob lunatics boycotting them or threatening to ‘cancel them.’ Sunday night proved that the pendulum is starting to swing back for comedy - the essence of which is to just make fun of EVERYBODY. If you dish it, take it. Stop taking things so seriously.

Sunday night we got that for three hours straight in what was one of the better roasts that we've seen since the Dean Martin days. (Google it, Gen-Z.)

The next question is - who will Netflix roast next as they run with this to the bank?
