Hero Saves Burning American Flag During Out Of Control Rally: VIDEO

A hero stepped up and saved a burning American flag during an out of control rally in Washington, D.C. Wednesday.

Thousands gathered in the nation's capital to protest against America and Israel with Israeli leader Benjamin Netanyahu in town.

Protesters, many wearing facial coverings, took down the American flag outside of Union Station and burned one during the unruly rally.

Fortunately, someone stepped up to save it.

Man saves burning American flag.

In a video filmed by Richie McGinniss - a member of the famous 2020 journalism riot squad - an unidentified man rushed in and saved the smoldering flag.

He took off running with the flag, and while the pro-Hamas side tried to catch him, they didn't get close. Check out the awesome video below, and hit me with your thoughts at David.Hookstead@outkick.com.

This is the kind of content we love to see. You simply can't let these people terrorize society, deface property and intimidate people.

I don't care what your feelings are about America. I don't care if you're conservative or liberal. I don't care if you vote Republican or Democrat.

What I do care about is respecting the United States of America, and there is nothing respectful about burning the flag. It spits on the legacy and memory of every single person who sacrificed for this country.

I think my Instagram post (hit the follow button on Instagram for more content) below sums it up nicely.

Also, if you want to get a good look at who these people are, check out the video below from Richie. He simply tried to ask a simple question and the woman responded with intimidation tactics.

Don't let these people push you around or intimidate you. This is our country, and we shouldn't ever apologize for loving it and defending it. Let me know at David.Hookstead@outkick.com if you agree.
