Airport Chick-Fil-A Manager Embezzled $144k, Spent The Stolen Money On Jewelry & OnlyFans
A former Chick-Fil-A manager at the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport took the "my pleasure" phrase used at the fast food restaurant chain to levels it was never intended to reach.
He is accused of embezzling roughly $144,000 from the restaurant and a pizzeria in the airport owned by the same company, an Illinois-based franchisee, The Grove, Inc. The alleged crimes took place over a 13-month period between September 2022 and October 2023.
The manager is said to have spent the stolen money on jewelry, online sports books, and OnlyFans. Timothy Hill Jr., 36, was indicted by a grand jury this week on five counts of wire fraud.
According to court documents, Hill pocketed money from the Chick-Fil-A location as well as the Settebello Pizzeria, instead of depositing it in a safety deposit box.
The documents claim that Hill would hide his crimes by "using future cash receipts to cover past thefts, thereby creating the false impression that deposits were delayed rather than stolen."
That apparently worked for more than a year while he was living it up on the extra cash. Extra cash that he wasn't just blowing through on things like jewelry and OnlyFans.
The Former Chick-Fil-A Manager Could Be Doing Some Serious Time
As much fun as all that is, Hill is also accused of sending tens of thousands of dollars to multiple women who also worked at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport. The women would send the former manager personal photographs and videos of themselves in exchange for money through Cash App.
I told you this guy took the my pleasure phrase to levels that the founders of Chick-Fil-A never had in mind, and it could cost him big time. Each count of wire fraud could carry a penalty of up to 20 years in prison.
Talk about a record scratch at the end of a 13-month run. Yet another example of crime not paying and the fun of living it up never lasting.
