Actor Ken Jeong Donates $50,000 To Families Of Victims In Atlanta Shootings

In a great sign of goodwill, comedian Ken Jeong has donated $50,000 to the families of victims of the recent Atlanta-area spa shootings.

Kendrick Jeong made five $10,000 donations to the GoFundMe campaigns for the families of Soon Chung Park, Hyun Jung Grant, Suncha Kim, Xiaojie "Emily" Tan and Yong Yue.

NBC News confirmed that the donations came from the The Hangover actor Monday afternoon.

Jeong has been vocal about the hate crimes, and has spoken out against them himself.

"With regard to the situation in Atlanta and the shootings in Atlanta, my heart, thoughts and prayers go out to all affected," he said during a virtual visit on Late Night with Seth Meyers.

"... It's just a sign that with the Asian American community, enough is enough."

Jeong, whose parents migrated to the U.S. from South Korea, also shared some of the fundraising campaigns to his Twitter account.

"The fact that even in this particular crime, there is debate whether this crime was racially motivated," Jeong said.

"Asian American women are two times as likely to be assaulted in America. This was clearly, clearly racially motivated. This was clearly a hate crime."
