50 Cent Says 'Maybe Trump Is The Answer' After NYC Gives Pre-Paid Credit Cards To Migrants
The rapper took to Instagram to express his frustration with the misuse of taxpayer money.
50 Cent is not a fan of New York City's plan to spend $53 million on pre-paid credit cards for migrants.
The rapper, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, took to Instagram to express his frustration with the misuse of taxpayer money. And he's calling on NYC Mayor Eric Adams to explain.
"WTF mayor Adams call my phone, I don’t understand how this works, somebody explain," he wrote. "Can’t explain this I’m stuck maybe TRUMP is the answer."
50 Cent Is Rightfully Mad About Giving Free Money To Illegal Immigrants
NYC will provide credit cards to "asylum seekers" — who are already staying in the city's iconic Roosevelt Hotel for free — intended to help them pay for food. The cards can only be used at bodegas, grocery stores, supermarkets and convenience stores, and migrants must sign an affidavit swearing they will only spend the cash on food and baby supplies.
A family of four could receive up to $1,000 per month. But for all the tax-paying American families who are struggling with the rising cost of groceries (and, well, everything)? Too bad, so sad.
"I’m bouta just release my citizenship then cross the border back into the U.S. so I can get paid too," one person commented on 50 Cent's post.
Of course, this news comes just after four illegal immigrants violently assaulted two NYPD officers and then flipped everyone the bird when they were released without bail just four hours later.
So it's no wonder Americans — including 50 Cent — are fed up and looking for a change. And this is hardly the first time the rapper has taken issue with the Democrats.
Last fall, Fiddy called out Joe Biden for constantly being on vacation while the world burns.
And in October 2020, the Grammy winner told his Instagram followers to vote for Trump when he saw a graphic of Biden's tax plan on TV. But after taking heat from left-wing celebrities like Chelsea Handler and Jimmy Fallon, 50 backtracked on his support for Trump.
But things have gotten pretty stupid over the last four years. And it's sure starting to sound like 50 Cent is firmly in Trump's corner this time around.
