Clay and Buck Discuss How 'The View' Gets Away With Idiotic Takes, Examine Reactions From The Left vs. Right

"The View" host Whoopi Goldberg is still rehabbing from an awful week in PR.

Goldberg essentially chalked the campaign of The Holocaust up to human error in a desperate bid to meet The View's quota for Idiotic Take of the Week, and is getting left off with a slap on the wrist.

Clay Travis and Buck Sexton discussed Goldberg's confusing statement and delved into the differences between someone on the Left getting canceled compared to someone perceived as being on the Right.

"I don't even know what her point was," CT admitted, then reminding audiences of "The Clay Travis and Buck Sexton Show" how a reasonably-minded person would react to this over The View's own approach.

"The View oftentimes has stupid opinions. The difference between what The View would argue and what we would argue is, when they have stupid opinions, we play their clip and we ridicule the stupidity of their opinions. But we don't say Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar should not be able to be on television."

Clay added, "The cure for falsehood is accuracy. The cure for speech you disagree with, to me, has always been more speech."

Buck Sexton discussed how militant View hosts have stood against conservative or independent thinkers; meanwhile, the panel gets a pardon to spew complete idiocy.

"It is true these days: If you are a person who believes in liberty, even at the expense of what you want to be an outcome, you are on the political right," Buck stated.
