Tyson Fury Planning To Go All 18-Wheeler On Next Opponent

Boxing may not have the brightest fighters, but you can't knock their creativity. The Sweet Science has gifted us memorable soundbites that range from Mike Tyson expressing desire to snack on children to Ali talking about floating like a buttery and stinging like a bee. Now heavyweight champion Tyson Fury is getting in on the verbal fun -- by comparing himself to an 18-wheeler.

“He’ll look like he’s been run over by an 18-wheeler, just like Deontay Wilder," Fury told iFL TV. "I'll reverse back over him and then run him over again.”

Fury was, of course, speaking about potential challenger Oleksandr Usyk.

“I’ll take the little cruiserweight guy, show you how to give a little, small man a good hiding. I’ll run him over."

We are likely still a few months away from any Fury-inspired road rage. The Gypsy King plans to remain in park until mid-winter before stepping back into the ring.

"I am definitely fighting end of February, early March. One million percent," Fury said to iFL TV.

Though excitement surrounds the prospects of a Fury-Usyk bout, speculation persists that a tune-up with Dillian Whyte is likely on the horizon first.

"Whatever's going to happen will happen. I don't care because they're all only workouts to me. I'll destroy every man that comes in front of me," said Fury. "It doesn't matter if it's Dillian Whyte, Dillian Blue or Dillian Grey. I don't care who it is."

Despite the uncertainty surrounding his next opponent, one thing is clear -- Fury's in the driver's seat and that's bad news for any obstacles in his path.
