Fed Up Judge Throws Broke Boxer Adrien Broner In Jail After Watching Instagram Money Video

A Cleveland judge finally hit her breaking point with boxer Adrien "Cincinnati Loudmouth" Broner (33-4-1) on Monday. Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court Judge Nancy Margaret Russo threw Broner in jail for contempt of court after he posted an Instagram video Halloween night featuring piles of cash and the 31-year-old bragging about the money.

Last December, Judge Russo ordered Broner to pay a sexual assault victim $800,000, but he had not yet done so. Broner claimed to have $13 in his bank account. In his last fight on January 19, 2019, a unanimous decision loss to Manny Pacquiao, Broner made $2.5 million, according to reports.

“Mr. Broner has continually defied every court order I’ve given,” Russo said. “The jig is up today.”

And with that, Broner was handcuffed and sent to jail.

Apparently, Broner was released from jail Monday because Tuesday he posted a video showing his expenses since 2017. "So I opened a personal account 3 years ago for my spending money habits and I just calculated how much I spent since 10/17 and I found out I’m a f**king IDIOT .... so I made myself some goals and I will be sure to reach every one 🆎 #BackOnTrack," Broner wrote on Instagram. 

Possibly scared into believing that Judge Russo is really serious about this jail thing this time, Adrien also made sure to show a personal message made out to himself.

“Stop drinking and start working out and lose all this weight and get down to 135. Become champion again. Buy my retirement home. Save nine figures. Give boxing my all for the next 2-3 years,” he wrote.
