Deontay Wilder, Tyson Fury Verbally Agree To Third Fight In July

One fight wasn't enough. Apparently, two fights weren't either. So now we are getting Round 3 of Tyson Fury versus Deontay Wilder, which both parties verbally agreed to on Thursday and is now tentatively set for July 24 in Las Vegas.

Prior to Thursday, Fury (30-0-1, 21 KOs) was in negotiations with Anthony Joshua's camp for a match. Many had preferred that fight, but an arbitrator stepped in and ordered a third fight between Fury and Wilder.

The first match finished in a split decision, but the second go-around clearly favored Fury. We then saw a LeBron James-level excuse after the fight with Wilder blaming his heavy suit for pre-fight fatigue.

Will a third time be the charm for Wilder (42-1-1, 41 KOs)?

Hopefully we can avoid some of the theatrics before the fight, and that way what we get during the fight can be better than what we saw in Round 2. I'm a big Wilder fan, but we don't want any excuses this time.

Are you excited for Round 3 or are you upset that Fury-Joshua isn't happening?
