Same Game Parlay: Bucks-Nets Game 5
There is only one game in town tonight for the NBA playoffs. We have another opportunity to hit a nice payday, thanks to FanDuel’s NBA Same Game Parlay offer. The offer allows us to bet on one NBA game and make a SGP bet for $10 or less and if it loses, we get refunded. When offers like this come around, I like to be riskier than normal. After all, it is a free bet, so I want to hit it and hit it big!
Kyrie is likely out, so is James Harden. So you have to figure out where points will come from on the Nets. Despite Blake Griffin scoring 15+ points in only six of his 26 games with Brooklyn this year, I’m looking at him to try and establish himself as a secondary scoring option for the Nets tonight. I am taking Griffin at +240 to score 15+ points.
Next, Keven Durant will need to space the floor out a bit and conserve energy. I don’t expect him to drive to the basket frequently. I think he will look to hit as many threes as possible. I’d love to take him at 5+ three-pointers made tonight, but he has hit five in a game only three times this whole season. I’ll take him at the plus odds for making 4+ though.
I’m also going to put Brook Lopez in here to get 2+ three-pointers made. He’s done it in two of the four games he has played this season. At +270, it is really hard to pass this opportunity up for him to get there. The only scary part is that he’s shot only about four attempts on average. I’m hoping he gets a few more attempts up tonight so we can cash this portion.
The last play I’m putting in here is the Nets with an alternate spread. Out of all of these, this is the one I’m least confident in. The Bucks are a good team, and the Nets have been crippled by the injury bug. But, I expect KD to do everything in his power to prove he is the best in the game right now. I’m taking the Nets -2.5 at +164.
Same Game Parlay:
Total odds are +6263; a $10 play pays out $626.33.
Add in Jrue Holiday to score the first basket of the game to make it even juicer (and riskier). Total odds increase to +28811; a $10 play pays out $2,881.10 if we win, and $10 if we lose.
