Arizona Cardinals WR Jermiah Braswell Arrested For OVI After Driving Camaro Into Lake Erie

Jermiah Braswell, an undrafted free agent wide receiver out of Youngstown State signed by the Arizona Cardinals, was arrested for OVI Saturday on Lake Erie island Put-In-Bay after he drove his Camaro into Lake Erie. "Braswell was at a very high rate of speed when he left the roadway. He traveled through a grassy area, and flew off the embankment into the lake, according to police records."

The report also states that when police approached the Camaro, Braswell was trying to drive forward and told cops he was stuck and didn't know what happened.

The police report states the incident happened near 212 Conlan Rd., a residential area on the island, not an area normally frequented by island tourists.

Braswell ended his Youngstown State career in 2019 with 51 catches, 986 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns over four years. A quick check of Braswell's Cardinals bio page shows it is still active - for now.
