What Do You Think Of Tennessee's 'Dark Mode' Uniforms?
In the college football world, alternate uniforms have become the new "it" thing to do at schools, not just for the players and fans, but also to attract recruits. So, Tennessee has decided to wear alternate colors this weekend for the first time since the "smokey grey" jerseys.
The Vols are hosting South Carolina on Saturday afternoon and decided this would be the perfect time to break out the new uniforms. Along with the uniforms, Tennessee will be celebrating former linebacker Al Wilson, who will be honored at halftime as an electee of the 2021 College Football Hall of Fame.
Here are the jerseys that will be worn on Saturday.
Tennessee coach Josh Heupel discussed the alternate jerseys during his Thursday press conference.
"To me, the player experience is at the forefront of everything that we do," Heupel said. "Uniforms are something that is important to them, in some ways it's important in the recruiting world as well. It's something that we started to talk with the administration about and worked on some designs."
The Vols will also have Al Wilson lead the "Vol Walk" on Saturday, prior to the game.
Tennessee is a 10.5 point favorite according to FanDuel.
