Titans Address Rookie Isaiah Wilson Attending College Party
Tennessee Titans head coach Mike Vrabel says he's addressed rookie Isaiah Wilson and his trip to a Tennessee State University party where Wilson received a trespassing warning from campus police while the NFL tries to keep its season rolling along without a bubble environment, leaving it up to NFL teams to police themselves.
"We've handled it. I've talked to Isaiah privately," Mike Vrabel said about his No. 1 pick. "You have to learn from it. You're not only talking about yourself, you're talking about other players and their families as well."
According to the TSU incident, Wilson "considered jumping from a second-story balcony to evade campus law-enforcement officials," Paul Kuharsky reports. Wilson isn't the only rookie out there risking it all during training camp. The Seahawks released rookie free agent Kemah Siverand after he tried to sneak a woman into the team hotel while she wore Seahawks gear, attempting to appear like a player.
While the Titans weren't going to release a No. 1 pick, they could fine Wilson a week's salary or suspend him up to four weeks due to conduct detrimental to the team, Kuharsky reports.
