The Wokes & Criminals Will Love The New Manhattan DA Who Promises To Reduce Charges

If you thought Manhattan was turning into a boarded up dump where criminals can operate without consequence, you ain't seen nothing yet. That's pretty much the message new Manhattan district attorney Alvin Bragg sent out in his first memo to prosecutors who have been ordered to stand down and reduce charges on dangerous criminals, including armed robbers and convicted criminals.

In a memo sent to staff Monday and analyzed by the New York Post, Bragg announced his office "will not seek a carceral (jail) sentence" except in cases of homicide, domestic violence felonies, some sex crimes and public corruption.

“This rule may be excepted only in extraordinary circumstances based on a holistic analysis of the facts, criminal history, victim’s input (particularly in cases of violence or trauma), and any other information available,” Bragg writes.

When prosecutors do take a case in front of a jury, "the request can be for no more than 20 years for a determinate sentence, meaning one that can't be reviewed or changed by a parole board," the Post writes.

And life without parole is off the table. Won't happen. Don't ask. It's not even being discussed.

As for the part where the wokes and criminals will rise up and cheer, Bragg outlines how prosecutors will reduce charges in the following cases:

What does this mean? As expected, this didn't go over well with the men and women who are putting their lives on the line to deal with criminals.

“In Bragg’s Manhattan, you can resist arrest, deal drugs, obstruct arrests, and even carry a gun and get away with it,” DEA president Paul DiGiacomo said in a prepared statement obtained by the Post.

NYC Police Benevolent Association President Patrick J. Lynch feels like this is just another signal that lawlessness will be tolerated by so-called progressive district attorneys.

Don't forget what's going on in San Francisco. Go back to mid-December when S.F. Mayor London Breed called a press conference to announce she'd had enough of the "bullshit" in the city. What is the "bullshit" she's referencing? It's the absolute destruction and lawlessness that has been brought on by a progressive, woke district attorney who has allowed criminals to walk right back on the streets to cause chaos.

It's a DA who has allowed criminals to ruin neighborhoods, Walgreens stores, smash cars and allow drug dealers to turn street corners into drug markets.

And now it sounds like Manhattan DA Bragg wants a taste of that lifestyle in his part of the U.S.
