Star OSU Player Laughably Outraged Mike Gundy Wore OAN Shirt

The outrage is still pouring in. In addition to the topics from noon, a football coach wore a T-shirt with a news channel logo on it. Yes, you read that right. It was Oklahoma State coach Mike Gundy who did the unthinkable and wore an OAN shirt while fishing.

It's not just random people who are outraged — though, there are a ton of them — it includes Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year Chuba Hubbard. Hubbard says he won't stand for the "insensitive" decision and won't do anything with the school until “changes” are made:

This manufactured outrage is utterly ridiculous and is an attempt to get thumbs up.

Imagine if a football coach wore the same shirt, on the same trip, but with the CNN or MSNBC logo on it. I'd bet a good amount of money Hubbard wouldn't be threatening to give up on OSU if that were the case. Instead, Gundy would be cheered and maybe get a nice profile written about him. 

Hubbard didn't explain what's insensitive about the shirt. Because he knew he didn’t need to. Hubbard saw an opportunity. If you publicly promote a conservative network, you are an enemy to Twitter. There's nothing offensive about an OAN shirt. Hubbard is looking for power. Outrage is that, regardless of the absurdity. 

It's also worth noting, Gundy didn't wear the shirt on a school-sponsored trip. He wore it while fishing, an activity where you often wear shirts you don't mind getting dirty. 

With the help of the media, who will undoubtedly join in on the anger, Hubbard could bully Gundy into apologizing.
