Sage Steele Reacts To Joe Biden Withdrawing From Election, Takes Aim At Jill Biden And Her 'Disgusting' Acts

Like most Americans, Sage Steele is disappointed with the big picture surrounding President Joe Biden's decision to withdraw from his re-election campaign. The former ESPN broadcaster and SportsCenter host specifically took aim at the President's wife, Jill Biden, questioning how she and the Biden family let things get to this point.

Biden officially announced that he would be withdrawing from the race against Donald Trump on Sunday afternoon, then endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris in a subsequent post on X. The President's decision to drop out came less than a month after his disastrous performance in a debate against Trump in Atlanta that showed the entire world that things were unwell, to put it mildly.

Steele called out the mainstream media and everyone refusing to accept the reality that maybe the President has some "cognitive issues," and has for quite some time.

"I think what we should be is disappointed and angry because it should never have gotten to this point in the first place," Steele said in a video posted to X. "And I don’t even mean since that debacle of a debate on June 27th when the mainstream media just magically decided to admit, ‘Wait, maybe he has some cognitive issues. Maybe he’s not fit to run for reelection. They were lying from top to bottom for years and covering up for him sadly."

"We should be so disappointed in his family, in his wife. How, as a spouse, could you allow your husband or wife to go ahead and proceed with something so big (and) so important when you know that as a human being, they are not OK? That, to me, is disgusting. That’s what I’ve been saying since I interviewed Joe Biden just a month or two after he took office. That was 3 1/2 years ago and I noticed in my interview before the conversation began that he was struggling."

Steele interviewed President Biden in March 2021 and revealed earlier this year that every aspect was "scripted" by network executives.

"It was very much ‘This is what you will ask. This is how you will say it. No follow-ups, no follow-ups. Next.' … This went up to the fourth floor, as we said, where all the bosses, the top executives, the decision makers are, the president of our company, the CEO, where they all worked," Steele explained.

Steele left ESPN in August 2023 after settling a free speech lawsuit she filed against the network and its parent company, Disney.
