Politico Claims Kamala Harris 'Faces Greater Security Risks' As Person Of Color, Woman

As soon as Vice President Kamala Harris replaced President Joe Biden as the Democrat nominee for the 2024 presidential election, the media had to get to work. Of course, the corporate media cannot allow Donald Trump to be elected president again.

However, even the heavily-biased media struggled to back Biden after his horrendous debate performance. Trump opened up a monster lead, so the media changed its tactics. The goal was to get Biden out, which was successful.

With Kamala Harris installed as the candidate, the direction of the media was pretty clear. It has to do everything in its power to try to get Harris elected.

Based on what we know about the media, the path forward was simple: tell people that they are racists and sexists if they don't vote for Harris.

MSNBC's Joy Reid got to it quickly, saying that black people who don't vote for Harris would look "crazy" and that people need to vote for Harris for "the culture."

Never mind her policies, political history or performance as Vice President. She's a woman and she's not white. Therefore, she's the correct choice in the minds of the left-wing media.

The one thing that was going to be really tough for the media, though, was the assassination attempt on Donald Trump. After all, he's the first President or former President to face an assassination attempt since Ronald Reagan in 1981.

Some have tried to claim that the attempt didn't happen or that it was perpetrated by Republicans as a "stunt."

But Politico decided to go another direction. The outlet figured that it could take the assassination attempt on Trump and make it all about Kamala Harris.

Seriously. Here's the post Politico put on X:

"Kamala Harris faces greater security risks because she’s a woman and person of color."

Greater security risks than whom, exactly? Greater security risks than Donald Trump, the man who was literally shot at earlier this month?

What information does Politico have to conclude this is true?

Hillary Clinton ran for president in 2016 and no one tried to kill her. Kamala Harris ran and then served as Vice President for years and no one has tried to shoot her.

Barack Obama, who is also a person of color, spent eight years in the Oval Office with nary a single assassination attempt.

Yet, Donald Trump – a white male – was nearly killed during a rally in Pennsylvania.

In fact, the Politico article is based on the idea that the Secret Service is always preparing to have extra security around Kamala Harris.

It's certainly fair that she should have extra protection as a presidential candidate. Hopefully, she has better Secret Service protection than Donald Trump had.

But the idea that Harris is the one at risk of an attack during this campaign when Trump was literally the victim of an attack is absurd.

I guess the left-wing media gonna left-wing media.
