Outkick and OddsShark's NFL Gambling Picks

Here are my gambling picks for this week:

Raiders at Texans, the under 37

Lions +8 at the Seahawks

Dolphins at Steelers, the over 45

Giants at the Packers -4.5

The picks below are from OddsShark so we differ in some places.

Inevitably one of yiou is going to be too dumb to understand that these are two different sets of picks, but please read this and don't be that idiot.

Last year, all four road teams won on NFL Wild Card Weekend, but this year that seems to be even more of a longshot. Find out if any of the visitors have a shot to pull off an upset in this week's picks . . .

Raiders at Texans (-4) (Sat, 4:35 p.m. ET) – Matchup Report

Of the four road teams, Oakland seems like the one with the best chance of winning. The visitor has gone 4-0 straight up and against the spread in the past four meetings, and Houston has been winning lately in spite of quarterback Brock Osweiler. The Raiders will be giving rookie Connor Cook his first career start in this spot, but he cannot be much worse than Osweiler has performed this year and has a better supporting cast.

Lions at Seahawks (-8) (Sat, 8:15 p.m. ET) – Matchup Report

Detroit really blew it down the stretch, heading into Seattle on a three-game losing streak. But the Lions do have the potential to keep this game closer than expected, which means covering the spread, like they have in three of the previous four meetings. The Seahawks have looked shaky lately, and they barely beat Detroit 13-10 as 9.5-point home favorites last season.

Dolphins at Steelers (-10) (Sun, 1:05 p.m. ET) – Matchup Report

Pittsburgh is the hottest team playing this weekend, riding a seven-game winning streak into this matchup with Miami. The Steelers are also 5-1-1 ATS in their last seven as chalk, and you will not find bigger favorites in this round. The key for Pittsburgh will be scoring early and often because the Dolphins will not be able to keep up on the scoreboard no matter who plays QB.

Giants at Packers (-4.5) (Sun, 4:40 p.m. ET) – Matchup Report

New York's Eli Manning owns Green Bay in the playoffs, winning at Lambeau Field in his only two previous postseason trips there. NFL MVP candidate Aaron Rodgers will not let his counterpart win on his home field again though, especially with the Packers playing as well as they have recently in winning six straight (5-1 ATS). Rodgers led Green Bay to a 23-16 win in the first meeting versus New York this season back in Week 5, and they will cover this one.
