Thirteen of the AP's Top 25 teams are undefeated on the season, but two of them stand out as the clear favorites on the latestodds to win the national championship at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com.
Atop the futures are the 6-0 Alabama Crimson Tide at +120 (bet $100 to win $120), with the 6-0 Clemson Tigers a step behind them at +375. The Tigers upset the Crimson Tide 35-31 in last year's national title contest, with Alabama beating Clemson 45-40 in the championship game back in 2015.
A pair of Big Ten schools then sit third and fourth on the futures with the Ohio State Buckeyes - despite their 5-1 record - at +750 and the 6-0 Penn State Nittany Lions at +1000. Ohio State lost to Oklahoma 31-16 in their second game of the season, and trail Penn State in the Big Ten East standings - but the teams still meet in a huge matchup on October 28.
The USC Trojans, at 5-1 on the season, are at +1600 on the latest national championship odds, with 6-0 Georgia and 6-0 Washington both at +1800, and 5-0 Wisconsin at +2000. Oklahoma and Oklahoma State boast identical 4-1 records and identical +2500 title odds.
Farther down the list, 4-0 Miami lurks at +3300 on the national championship odds along with 4-1 Michigan and 5-1 Auburn, while 5-0 TCU could have value at +4000 on the betting futures. Up to No. 6 in the AP Top 25, TCU will be looking ahead to its key November 11 matchup against Oklahoma.
Washington State has moved up to No. 8 in the AP Top 25 with its 6-0 record, but sits well behind the top contenders at +5000 on the national championship odds. San Diego State, South Florida, and Central Florida are a combined 15-0 on the season but share +15000 title odds.

The unbeaten Kansas City Chiefs have been steadily moving up the odds to win Super Bowl 52, as they now sit behind only the New England Patriots and the Green Bay Packers on those betting futures at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com.
The Chiefs, the only team in the NFL that has yet to suffer a loss heading into Week 6 of the season, are now the +650 third-favorites (wager $100 to win $650) on the Super Bowl 52 odds. Kansas City is set as a 5-point home favorite against the Pittsburgh Steelers in late-afternoon action on Sunday.
The Patriots continue to be the Super Bowl 52 betting favorites at +450, but Aaron Rodgers and the Packers have closed the gap on that top spot at +500 odds. New England was seen as a candidate to go 16-0 this season, but has already suffered two losses to sit at 3-2 heading into its Week 6 road game against the New York Jets.
The Packers are 4-1 on the season and will face the Vikings in Minnesota on Sunday afternoon.
Rounding out the top contenders on the latest odds to win Super Bowl 52 are the Seattle Seahawks and the Philadelphia Eagles both at +1000, and the Steelers and the Atlanta Falcons both at +1200. Atlanta is 3-1 on the season and seeking redemption after they blew a massive lead at Super Bowl 51 last February.
The Dallas Cowboys have stumbled to a 2-3 record to start the season, putting them third in the NFC East standings and back at +2000 on the Super Bowl 52 odds along with the Denver Broncos, who are 3-1 through four games. The Carolina Panthers are then at +2200, and there's a gap from there with the Detroit Lions and the Minnesota Vikings both sitting at +3300.
Elsewhere on the list, after opening at +1600 the Oakland Raiders have dropped to +5000 on the Super Bowl 52 odds thanks to a 2-3 start and an injury to quarterback Derek Carr. The Los Angeles Rams have bounced from +10000 to +5000 on the futures list after starting the season a solid 3-2.
And with an ugly 0-5 record the New York Giants have plummeted from +1600 to +30000.
