NFL Writer Mike Freeman is Leaving Bleacher Report

Mike Freeman is leaving Bleacher Report, sources tell Outkick the Coverage.

A Bleacher Report spokesperson declined to comment on the news.

Freeman, a traditional NFL columnist, didn't fit the direction of the site, sources say. While Bleacher Report still features long-form content, it has evolved into a multi-media site.

Speculatively, Yahoo Sports could be a destination for Freeman. The website has not replaced NFL writer Kimberley Martin, who departed for ESPN in February. The Athletic and NFL.com also come to mind as potential fits.

Freeman joined Bleacher Report in 2013.
