Find out if they will be able to rebound and avoid going 0-2 along with a couple other playoff-caliber teams.
49ers at Panthers (-13.5) (Sun, 1 pm ET) - Matchup Report
San Francisco looked great in a 28-0 rout of the Los Angeles Rams on Monday Night Football, but consider the opponent before you assume this is a good football team. Carolina is much better and will prove that by covering this huge number in its home opener. The Panthers were the only team in the league to go 8-0 straight up at home in 2015 with a 6-2 mark against the spread. They have also won 13 in a row there, and there's no chance it won't be 14 straight.
Buccaneers at Cardinals (-6.5) (Sun, 4:05 pm ET) - Matchup Report
Arizona did not play well offensively in a 23-21 loss to the New England Patriots on Sunday Night Football last week, but again consider the opponent. Tampa Bay is not New England, especially on the defensive side of the ball. The Cardinals should be able to exploit the Bucs through the air and on the ground in an easy double-digit victory. They have won five in a row after losing as favorites with a 6-1 ATS mark in their past seven following consecutive losses.
Colts (+6) at Broncos (Sun, 4:25 pm ET) - Matchup Report
The betting public loved the way Denver looked against Carolina, which is why you need to go the other way here and back Indianapolis in this spot. New quarterback Trevor Siemian cannot keep up with Andrew Luck and a disappointed Colts team on the scoreboard after their late rally came up just short in a 39-35 home loss to the Detroit Lions last week. Plus, Indy has won eight of the past nine meetings with the Broncos and gone a perfect 9-0 ATS during that stretch.
