Saturday, 8:15 p.m. ET (FOX) - Cowboys (11-6 SU, 9-7-1 ATS) at Rams (12-4 SU, 9-6-1 ATS)

Although we respect the Cowboys and the way they have absolutely dazzled after a 3-5 start, we can’t help but wonder how much of a physical toll their game against the always brutal Seattle Seahawks took on them last week. Now they have to travel to LA to face a stellar offense led by one of the best young quarterbacks in the league in Jared Goff and an impressive arsenal of weapons surrounding him, including Todd Gurley.

Speaking of Gurley, he has been hobbled lately but the bye week came at a perfect time and it would be a colossal surprise if he didn’t suit up. C.J. Anderson has been impressive since coming over from Carolina, garnering 299 yards and two touchdowns while catching four of his six targets in the last two weeks of the regular season. The only fly in the ointment is the absence of slot receiver Cooper Kupp, who was a dynamite safety valve when Goff was out of deep options. Nevertheless, the Rams have managed without the second-year spark plug by posting a 4-2 straight up mark since he was injured in the team’s Week 10 victory over Seattle.

The Cowboys have a good, but by no means great, defense and that’s why the Rams will cover in this one. The Rams eat average pass defenses alive and LA’s interior triumvirate of Aaron Donald, Ndamukong Suh and Michael Brockers will overwhelm what used to a sensational Dallas offensive line. The Rams have too much on both sides of the ball for an overachieving Dallas club to handle. Lay the points, be a square, and watch this game go high.

Side Total: Rams ATS (-7)

Total: Over (49.5)

Sunday, 4:40 p.m. ET (FOX) - Eagles (10-7 SU, 7-9-1 ATS) at Saints (13-3 SU, 10-6 ATS)

Even if you’re not an Eagles fan, you have to love Nick Foles. He is the Rudolph on the Eagles’ sleigh, originally overlooked by the more popular reindeer but when they needed him to light the way to victory, he was there again. His nose might not be red but his play has been golden as Philadelphia miraculously survived a near-death experience last week against Chicago and won the game despite the best online sportsbooks, all found over at Sportsbook Review, tagging Philly as 5½-point road dogs.

The Eagles may have struggled out of the gate, but they are getting their mojo on at the right time. Conversely, the Saints have not looked nearly as good down the homestretch of the season, going 3-2 straight up but covering the number only once in those last five regular season contests. The Eagles’ pass rush should bring the heat against Drew Brees and we see a relatively low-scoring affair with the Eagles keeping it close and even slaying another giant on the highway. Grab the points and put a few bucks on the money line with Philly.

Best NFC Value: Eagles ATS (+8)

Total Play: Under (50)

Money Line: Eagles
