Local Mississippi News Airs Most Awkward Interview Ever

In Outkick's four year existence we have had lots of ridiculous local news stories. Many of them are from the South because, let's be honest, there are more ridiculous people per capita in the South than anywhere else in the country.

But tonight we bring you the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen happen in a local news interview.

Courtesy of reader Neal comes the following email along with a YouTube link:

"Not sports related but...

How does this happen!? This was on WXVT news in Greenville, MS and aired on live TV. I figured there was a delay or something."

I get lots of emails like this because when many of you see ridiculous things happen on TV your first thought is, I have to email or Tweet Clay Travis about this. God bless you all for thinking this.

I always click on your lnks, but nothing has been more surprising than this result.

There's been a shooting at a gas station and the reporter is interviewing a witness.

Just watch.

Oh, and if you haven't noticed yet, when I have no idea what image to put up on a story like this, I just go with the head coach of the football team in the state. Somehow this makes the story even funnier.
