Kamala Harris Makes Tone Deaf Statement On Immigration After String Of Migrant-Related Killings

In case you thought that the string of killings across the country linked to illegal immigrants would change how Democrats approach immigration, think again.

Illegal immigrants were charged with murder, rape and kidnapping in several different jurisdictions in just the past week. One particularly horrifying case involved two Venezuelan illegal immigrants in Texas who were charged with murdering a 12-year-old girl who was found strangled in a creek. 

Sure enough, both had been caught by Border Patrol and released into the United States. 

Another illegal immigrant was just charged with first-degree murder and rape, related to the attack and killing of Rachel Morin, a 37-year-old woman in Maryland. And it was likely not his first victim, according to police.

"We all suspected that Rachel was not his first victim," Harford County Sheriff Jeffrey Gahler said. "It is my understanding that this suspect, this monster, fled to the United States illegally after committing the brutal murder of a young woman in El Salvador … in January of 2023."

Sure enough, Victor Martinez Hernandez entered the country illegally in February 2023. And why not? It's not like there are consequences for doing so. 

But none of that matters to Vice President Kamala Harris or the left-wing media industrial complex. Because what really matters is putting ideology above results. In a recent speech on immigration, Harris delivered the good news that the Biden administration wants to make it even easier to stay in the US illegally, and reward those who stay.

Her comments are an insult to the families who have suffered tragic losses at the hands of those in the country illegally. But it's hardly a surprise, considering the importance of political ideology relative to the consequences of that ideology.

It's a story playing out all across the country; far left district attorneys downgrade crimes, refuse to prosecute or incentivize theft. When quality of life decreases, crime increases and people leave, they double down with even worse policies. It's never not working, it's just not being sufficiently supported.

Democrats do not care what the consequences are of unchecked illegal immigration, because they see the descendants of those immigrants as future left-wing voters. Significant majorities of the country want illegal immigrants deported, not rewarded. 

Those numbers are almost certainly set to rise considering the rash of crime linked to migrants in recent weeks. Harris and the Biden administration don't care though, about the families ripped apart by the crimes those migrants commit. They have their priorities, and you come last.
