Florida Man Arrested For Living In Soccer Stadium Luxury Suite
Homeless Florida Man Daniel Albert Neja was arrested Sunday at Al Lang Stadium, the home of Tampa Bay Rowdies of the second-tier USL Championship. Dan had been living in a luxury suite for almost two weeks, according to police, and probably would've lived in the luxury suite longer if a cleaning crew wasn't ordered to get the place looking nice for the August 16 game against Miami FC.
The St. Petersburg police department, says a cleaning crew "entered the room where he was staying and found razors, opened shaving cream containers and blankets." It gets even better for Neja, who was living the life inside the stadium where surveillance video showed Dan going into the merchandise room and to get food. "He was wearing Rowdies clothing and eating the food that he had found," according to a St. Petersburg police spokesperson.
The Rowdies calculated Neja took $1,043 in merchandise and pounded $250 in drinks.
