Ohio State To The SEC?

Is this the year we finally get total chaos in college football, and by total chaos, I'm talking Ohio State to the SEC? With B1G school presidents reportedly voting 12-2 (now there's rumblings it was an informal vote) to cancel the 2020 season, Ohio State is starting to float the idea of playing in the SEC.

Buckeyes junior linebacker Teradja Mitchell wants to know if the SEC would allow Ohio State to join the party for 2020. OSU wide receivers coach Brian Hartline says he's in and adds, "our players deserve the opportunity to choose whether they play or don't play. We will play anyone, anywhere. We don't care who it is."

You want to talk about the ultimate way to get the attention of B1G presidents? The drumbeat, however unlikely it is to happen, of Ohio State to the SEC. We're in the middle of very weird times, but it seems like just when you don't think something can happen, it happens. Did you think the Marlins would be a 1/2 game out of first and the Cardinals would have played five games when the Braves have played 17?

Be careful before you think Ohio State to the SEC could never happen. President Trump is throwing his support behind a 20-year-old quarterback's movement and Ohio State fans are openly agreeing with Jim Harbaugh's call for a season. Weird times, buckle up.
